The objective for most quality or lean initiatives is to get long term sustainable results, with a focus on the methods, tools, techniques and structure of the implementation – in other words, the technical or “hard” components. Organizations expend significant resources on these initiatives, yet often fail to achieve this intended outcome.

An often ignored critical factor for long term success is the Human Systems or “soft” components that determine the culture of the organization. The people are the only corporate assets that have the capability to appreciate. Culture change requires a deliberate approach to designing and managing human systems, developing the potential of people, and building their engagement to drive improvement results. The culture combined with technical components will determine the organization’s long term success.
This session provides a strategy to identify and shift the Human Systems of an organization to enable a culture designed to achieve sustainable long term success with a quality or lean implementation. It is for those who are inspired to get results.
Learning Objectives:
  • To provide an overview of the Human Resources Systems that drive culture.
  • To provide a model and strategy for implementing a cultural shift to enable long term results.
  • To understand the role of the executives, managers and leaders in developing and managing the Human Resources System.
