There is an ongoing challenge for individuals in management and leadership roles to incorporate effectively the key human resource principles that are essential to effective team and organizational behaviour. This interactive workshop will introduce human resource functions, influences and strategies to managers/leaders to increase awareness and knowledge of Human Resource Principles.
 
Learning objectives for the program include:
  • Identify and describe the principles and functions of human resource management
  • Interpret modern human resource issues into strategies for success
  • Apply principles of human resource management using case studies
  • Describe human resource principle application in the workplace 

Facilitator:

Robin Steel, a Certified Human Resources Professional, owns and operates A Lifework by Steel & Company. Robin has seven years of human resource experience and four years of demonstrated experience facilitating adult learning programs for a variety of organizations in Winnipeg and South Eastern Manitoba. A lifelong learner, she combines her generalist human resource knowledge with a love for the classroom in interactive learning environments.
