Strategic Planning is a component of the business planning process that is done before tactical action is taken. To think strategically and act tactically, you need to know what questions to ask and how to apply planning models to define business challenges, identify priorities, make key decisions and establish direction. Strategic Planning efforts should guide you to creating an action road map for success.

In this one-day program, you will be introduced to models and tools for strategic planning and understand the need to create an action road map in order to navigate to business success.

Upon completion you will:

  • Understand several strategic planning models and how to apply them.
  • Engage in the use of strategic planning tools that can be applied within your business environment today.
  • Establish a basic Road Map as a Plan of Action (set priorities, establish direction and create strategic actions).
This one-day intensive workshop places emphasis on having the participants engage in experience based learning using a business case scenario and a number of activities to reinforce the development of the required strategic planning skills.

Richard Lannon has over 25 years of professional experience in strategic planning, business improvement and organizational transformation.
