Some issues cannot be resolved and attempts to apply typical gap analysis problem solving techniques to these situations can make them worse.

This session will provide a framework for understanding, managing and talking about chronic contentious issues (workplace paradoxes or polarities) in ways that can pull people together instead of causing further polarization.

At this one day workshop you will:

  • Learn how to identify the differences between an “unresolvable problem (polarity)" and a standard problem.
  • Develop the ability to map and predict the patterns of unresolvable problems .
  • Create a strategy to more effectively manage an unresolvable problem in your current team / organization.
  • Learn how to leverage the power of polarities when advocating for change or defending the status quo
