When looking to initiate change, many organizations fixate on the external tasks to be managed, often overlooking the internal elements within each individual. From the inner perspective, change is an emotional practice, as much as it is a cognitive activity. Organizations that adjust their change process to include principles of embodiment will fare better throughout the process. To affect change within an organization, a shift should begin long before any change is initiated.

Loncen will help you discover the role of embodiment as part of the change management process, introducing five pillars for initiating change and exploring the important role of the environment in the change process.

At the end of the luncheon presentation, you should be able to:

  • Define key aspects of behavioural change from an embodied perspective
  • Recognize the importance of “experiential learning” in workplace practice to change habits
  • Define strategy for enlivening the change process based on Embodiment principles
  • Introduce the concept of Embodied Leadership in Change initiatives
  • Understand emotional intelligence as a cornerstone to Embodying Change

Presenter: Loncen Gray

Loncen Gray is an Embodied Movement Facilitator and Integrative Coach. His extensive studies have crossed a variety of disciplines. Utilizing his experience and training, along with his discoveries through client work, Loncen offers a new way to approach change. He has created an original program that he terms a “creative experiential learning process” that benefits his clients at a deep personal, professional, and lasting level.
