Not one to shy away from the unknown, Tyler is a risk taker whose basement home brewing passion escalated rather quickly. Barn Hammer opened as the first Taproom in Winnipeg in 2016 and is forever in a state of forward motion as it evolves to keep up with Tyler’s momentum to push brewing boundaries.

Steven Hnatishin

Steve’s journey began in 2005 with a decade in the heavy construction and mining industries extending to a role in safety & health in 2011. The pursuit of safety & health excellence led Steve to the non-profit industry in 2017 serving Manitoba manufacturers for the next 8 years. Armed with leadership experience and the education from a recent MBA Steve took the opportunity to champion an expanded employee benefits initiative at Cascade Group Benefits. Steve is dedicated to building relationships that extend beyond work showcased in time spent volunteering for the Board of Canadian Registered Safety Professionals and coaching youth hockey.

As a Group Consultant at RBC Group Advantage, Trish help Winnipeg-based businesses design and implement comprehensive financial wellness plans for their employees. With over 4 years of experience in the banking industry and a certification as a Retirement Planning Associate (RPA), she provides skills and expertise to deliver tailored and effective solutions for her clients. 

Trish also has a background in entrepreneurship, where she ran a food trading business back in her home country in England for over 3 years, and was also a freelance web designer.

Jackie Wild

Jackie Wild is a seasoned communications and marketing professional with over a decade of experience managing successful community-focused initiatives within the public, private and non-profit sectors. As a racialized woman in business, she understands the critical role anti-racism advocacy plays in advancing equitable outcomes for her kababayan (fellow country people) and the broader business community. In 2022, Jackie launched Tito Boy Restaurant, Winnipeg’s first south-end Philippine eatery, offering traditional and fusion culinary creations. A champion of community building, Jackie serves as president of the Manitoba Filipino Business Council, volunteers as board secretary with the Manitoba Museum, small business advisory council co-chair with The Winnipeg Chamber, interview chair with the Loran Scholars Foundation and board member with the Health Sciences Centre Foundation. In 2020, Jackie was named one of CBC Manitoba’s Future 40 recipients and featured in the Filipino Journal’s 20 Filipinos to Watch list.

Nathan Rasmussen

Nathan has worked in the manufacturing industry for 23 years, gaining experience in Foundries, Sheet Metal and Millwork. In his manufacturing career, Nathan has spent 18 years as a Safety Professional providing cross functional leadership, and now with a team of 15 advisors and trainers he is responsible for staff and Made Safe’s impact on the larger safety community as a whole.
