Project Management Fundamentals

This two-day course will focus on project management concepts including project definition, planning, scheduling, execution, and closing.

Participants will use a case study and conduct interactive exercises in a team environment to reinforce learning concepts.

Learning Outcomes

Upon completion of Project Management Skills, attendees will be able to:    

1. Define the project management triple constraint
2. Prepare the project charter and scope statement
3. Prepare a project work breakdown structure
4. Prepare a project network diagram and project schedule
5. Estimate project costs
6. Identify and manage project risks
7. Manage project issues and changes
8. Monitor progress and report status to stakeholders
9. Formally close out projects and record lessons learned
